The project is the apparition.

This design challenges the traditional cathedral form of the Catholic Church while synthesizing the cultural and contextual influences of the parish and rural Indiana site into a unique community architecture. A pre-engineered building system, manufactured by local industry, is inexpensively deployed but architecturally elevated by specific spatial design and material arrangement.

The humble building profile is analogous to the spiritual notion of Guadalupe (Virgin Mary in Aztec form) communicating to communities in familiar terms.
