Marcus graduated from Virginia Tech in 2015 with a Bachelor of Architecture degree and was the 25th recipient of the Pella Prize, awarded annually to the top undergraduate thesis. His post-college career has taken him from Washington D.C. to Tel Aviv, Israel, and most recently to Chicago, Illinois. His previous experience includes K-12 education and small-scale commercial projects, both renovation and new work.

He is inspired by the intersection of film, photography, and architecture and hopes to combine these disciplines in new and productive ways. His free time is not-so-evenly distributed between drawing, photography, watching baseball and hockey, and walking ten thousand steps per day.
