Chicago Studio Fall 2020 Final Review

At the Chicago Studio Fall 2020 final review, students presented their work to host firm participants, mentors, and guest critics. For the Fall 2020 semester of the Chicago Studio, the students were challenged to develop a 240 unit affordable housing complex in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago. The project site is uniquely located at the western terminus of the 606 trail - a former raised railway line that has since been converted into a pedestrian pathway which connects a number of neighborhoods on the North Side. A former glove factory building currently occupies the site and will be demolished to provide affordable housing for the diverse community of the surrounding neighborhoods.
