Chicago Studio Spring 2021 Final Books: please see selections from each group's project!

For the Spring 2021 semester, students were challenged to develop a 240 unit affordable housing complex in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago. The project site is uniquely located at the western terminus of the 606 trail, a former raised railway line that has since been converted into a pedestrian pathway, which connects a number of neighborhoods on the North Side. A former glove factory building currently occupies the site and will be demolished to provide affordable housing for the diverse community of the surrounding neighborhoods.
