The work includes minor improvements to the facade of the existing penthouse, code-driven modifications to the interior means of egress stair doors and landing at the penthouse/roof deck level, plus the area required to include a second means of egress. This second means of egress shall be achieved via an elevated walkway leading to the existing building fire escape, which shall be extended an additional story to connect to the proposed roof deck level. The proposed project scope also includes a re-roof of the existing total system membrane to achieve a new roofing system warranty for the building.
