The project under consideration is a significant expansion to an 8-story River North commercial building located at 620 N. LaSalle Drive in Chicago. The scope of the expansion includes enlarging the floor plate to the west, incorporating the existing parking lot area. The west addition is approximately 50 ft x 90 ft, and will include elevators serving the existing 8 floors plus existing basement, and extend service to 2 or 3 new floors above the existing roof level. The additional floors will cover most of the footprint of the existing building.
