This complete interior renovation of a 14,000 square foot home in Winnetka, Illinois consisted of restoring the elegance of its 1935 original design while updating the living spaces with modern conveniences. The kitchen and family rooms were enlarged and reconfi gured, and the unfinished basement was converted into a gracious media room and wine cellar. Additionally, the 3rd floor attic was converted from storage space into a guest suite and play rooms. Finally, the original concrete staircase, once the focal point of the home, was restored to its elegant former glory.
