Tai Ping Carpets has a reputation for luxurious materials and elegant patterns that is enhanced by the contrasting simplicity and sleekness of the Chicago Showroom’s design. The oversized white display shelving pays deference to the beauty of the carpet samples resting on it, while a monumental walnut door and floor-to-ceiling glass walls mark the showroom’s presence in the Merchandise Mart Design Center. von Weise Associates served as Architect of Record to bring this design to fruition through documentation and construction oversight.
